Shadow Casters

“Man shall not live and be sustained by bread alone but by every word and expression of God.” (Luke 4:4amp)

Our vision is to unite youth with the living God, to lead them into freedom in the expression of their faith and to establish them in an open dialogue with the Lord Jesus. The word expression means: indication of feeling, spirit, character, etc., as on the face, in the voice, or in artistic execution. Giving youth a safe place to express themselves artistically, with feeling, spirit and character is important in our journey with the youth.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27(NKJV)

Our heart is to teach youth to hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. Our Lord still desires to speak to His children today. We are growing in the prophetic and learning to discern the voice of the Lord. Many of our youth are receiving prophetic words, dreams and visions from the Lord. They are encouraged in their faith in the Lord as they step out and speak what the Lord has given them. Some express it through words of encouragement, songs, paintings, drawings, dance, drama and in new creative ways every day. We have not even touched the surface of how the Lord wants to express Himself through the youth of this generation. We are hungry and open to going deeper in a relationship with God. By discovering the character of God and studying His word our foundation is built on the Rock. He directs our steps and we press forward listening to His voice in obedience. This is not a stagnant or complacent love for Jesus, but rather a living, breathing, on fire hunger that demands our pursuit of Him!

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." Mark 16:15-18(NKJV)

We are releasing the youth to step into the fullness of the gospel. When Joel prophesied that the Lord would pour out His Spirit on our sons and daughters we choose to believe just that. Youth of this generation are doing mighty exploits in the name of our God. We believe the Lord will provoke jealousy in the hearts of all that have stood by and not engaged the Lord and stepped out to walk in all the Lord has spoken for the Body of Christ. Through this we strive to boldly impart a thirst and hunger that all would pursue God in a deeper way. That the church, who is the Bride of Christ, would be prepared to welcome her King!
